And It's Been A Year...

I have been blogging for one year! My First Post ever, and you can read it here, was on the 19th of September, 2008. We were headed out/over into the western mountains of Maine for the weekend, just as we are again, tomorrow. It's an annual thing! I am happy. I can't wait to see Fall Colors, and will be sure to take pictures and share them with you. It has always amazed me how people actually travel to Maine, to simply see the fall colors! Do you think that is how people that live near the Grand Canyon feel? What's the big deal?! I hate to take things for granted. I love living where there are four distinct seasons, and I thank God for the beauty of the earth. We are packing winter coats, and I even got out the 'ole winter hats! This is the time of year where during the day, we are in short-sleeve shirts, but at night, put your hat on if you're going outside! The other day, we reached the mid-eighties, but we also had a light frost at night. What are your days like right now? From Washington State, to Texas, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and everywhere in between, how is Mother Nature treating you these days?

Have a great weekend, stay cool.....or, warm, whatever the need may be!

  1. I am in Northwest Georgia and as everyone knows it has been WET! Lots of flooding. But yesterday and today is has been pretty humid and in the upper 80's. Still hot and between 60 and 70 at night. Can't wait till it stays in the 70's in the day and hots the 40's and 50's at night. No heat, no air...life is good! Just open the windows and use a fan and close them at night and it is comfy. And the power bill is cheaper...lol.
