A Procrastination Post

Lots to do today. And I can't seem to get going! I've had a really good week, felt the balance between housework, paperwork, playtime, meals and sleep. And today, the day I really want to get a lot done, I am being a dud. Haven't moved from the couch since the DiSH left for work at 8:30am. I need to hit the grocery store, do the one load of laundry I have, take turns mowing the lawn with Mr. Smarty Pants, and then go work on my cradleroll room at church. The theme is about Going To Church, so will do activities that are about getting ready for church, walking/driving to church, giving offering, praying, being reverent in the sanctuary, etc. I think the kids will really like it. That will take me a few hours! I love teaching the little ones, even if it is just one hour each week. Hard to believe that Little Man will soon be entering the next step up division, Kindergarten. Well, in January, but that's only 6 months away! Mr. Smarty Pants turns 16 in a couple of weeks, and Girly Girl will be 12 in December, 2 days after Little Man turns 3. I'm actually excited about birthdays coming up. I found myself looking at decorations and invitations not long ago. Between the 22nd of December and the first of August, that's a long time to not have to plan a party! For my kids anyway. :) We bought tickets yesterday, to our favorite waterpark. It's an annual thing, and we usually do it for Mr. S.P.'s birthday. There was a sweet deal on the radio, buy one super ticket, get the other free. One ticket is $30. So we bought 4 for the price of 2! I'm happy. I love saving a buck.
Hope you all have a great weekend! It's beautiful here today, no humidity! It's supposed to return on Saturday though. Oh well. Just glad it's summer!!
