Rolling Along

I have been toying with the idea of beginning a second blog to sort of record my progress into the next year, before my 40th birthday on March 20 of 2011. I think I need to, because so far I have not recorded anything anywhere, and I know that when I begin, it will help. So that's a goal for this weekend. Too much studying to do today to do it!
At the end of the show Criminal Minds last night, they left us with a great quote for all of us bloggers. The DiSH is more of a fan of the show, I was just sitting next to him, uploading pictures to Facebook. :) But here's the quote:

"Better to write for SELF and have no public, then to write for public and have no SELF."

Good one, huh?! I have to be reminded of that from time to time. No need to sit here and try to impress my "stranger friends" when in reality what we all want is the TRUE writer!

I must go study now. Big test in A&P tonight over the lymph/immune, and respiratory systems!

I will leave you with pictures of my nephew "Joshie", rolling down a hill. Rolling down a big hill sometime this summer with my kids and nephews is on my Summer of 2010 bucket list!!

  2. I think you should definitely start a blog for your birthday!! I used to love rolling down hills like that but a grass allergy doesn't lend itself to too much fun...lol. I think you always write the honest way and I love reading your blog!

  3. "Better to write for SELF and have no public, then to write for public and have no SELF." That is an awesome statement. I love it!

I love your bucket list goal. That is awesome to have such a simple, fun thing like rolling down a hill be something that you choose to make a goal because I know that at one time, not too long ago, the idea of that for you would have been almost torment just to think about. We forget sometimes and take for granted the simple pleasures of life.

  4. I love this blog page. When I'm finished with college I think I'll attempt blogging! You make it sound fun.
Another thing we should do this summer is bury our legs in sand at the beach!!!
Love the pictures of my Joshie!
