Off the Top of My Head

Watching Extreme Home Makeover. It makes me cry. And smile. And feel grateful.
Baby is finally over a cold he had for 9 days. Sick baby = horribly sleeping baby = in momma and daddy's bed each night.
My back/leg still hurt. A lot. I gave up on physical therapy along with my doctor's okay. It just wasn't doing anything for me. No relief at all. Now I have fast-forwarded to sending a referral to a neurosurgeon for a consult, and am now waiting for an appointment. My doctor believes he will perform the surgery to remove this "large massive herniated disk". I hope so. I want the pain gone.
The DiSH's mom is a great woman. I don't give her enough credit. She has helped us out so that bills can be paid. My husband is going to work down at her house for her, helping her do so many things she needs help with, in order to pay her back.
The DiSH starts his new job Thursday. We are still wondering if it's the job for him, but will allow God to play out His plan, and try hard not to make our own.
Today I made cupcakes. Yummy, strawberry cupcakes with yellow and pink frosting. Very spring looking! They were so good. Shared them with my sister and my two nephews, and my three children.
Little Man loves brushing his teeth. He has Winnie The Pooh toothpaste, which he just calls Pooh Paste. Kinda funny. A friend gave him some small just my size, "work boots."

He loves them. But he loves even more, the Thomas the Train sneakers that she gave him too.
Mr. Smarty Pants and Girly Girl are going to Art Clinic this coming weekend. It's a school thing, they will be gone from Thursday morning through Sunday night. I will miss them, but am so glad they have this opportunity to hang out with friends and do fun things, and be creative!
It's cold here. No snow this weekend like the south, but the temps were fierce. It bites right through.
January is over!!! Yay!!! :)
