blogging and believing

I got an email this morning from UPrinting.com They want me to take part in their Blog Sponsor Program. I feel a little in the dark still, about so much in the blog world! Who is for real, who isn't... What do I really want to do with this blog? I know one thing, I want to keep it real. I want to stay on the same track I began, over one year ago. It was simply a way to write, vent, create, and record. I then began to have fun with it, decorating my space and meeting great people around the country! I love my bloggy friends! I talk about Erica, Shana,  Jamie, Tara, Brooke, Heather, Riahli, and many more, all the time to my family and friends! I am in the middle of my first  giveaway right now, and I can't wait to see who wins. We'll see how soon I do another one. I have lots of pictures of Mr. Smarty Pants, Girly Girl and Little Man to post soon, and of course, two birthdays in just a couple of weeks (see my right sidebar!), and Christmas!!! A great time of year to blog! I have also been spending time reading old posts of my own, sort of like reading an old diary.
So will I take part in UPrinting.com ?? sure. I know it will mean more for my readers!  So go to http://www.uprinting.com/blog-sponsor-program/ to sign up! Let's check this out together.
Okay, well watch later for some really cute pics of Little Man dressed as Tigger, reading his books. :) and pray for him today...he came down with a lousy cold yesterday. We have made the decision for LM and I to not go to the Ronald McDonald House this weekend along with the rest of the fam. It's our annual weekend there, and I'm sad, but do not want to take a sick little guy, only to risk spreading germs to parents of NICU babies and families of sick children. Also pray for the DiSH today....he's trying to finish our roof, before our first big storm of the year hits us tomorrow. He has NO HELP, and can't seem to find any. I'm trying hard not to feel angry at people that he has so generously helped for free in the past, just because he cares. I know that's not what it is about. So, I am praying today, and I know that God has a plan for our roof, and it will be finished in His time, not ours! Why is it so much easier to say than believe sometimes?!!

  1. I have won a big portrait poster from Uprinting.com. I haven't done any giveaways from them though. They are legit and a lot of people work with them.

    You do have a very busy few weeks coming up. Hope LM feels better. Andrew has been running a fever but we think it has to do with teething.

  2. Awww, I feels special! You talk about me to your family?!! Funny, I talk about you and several others like that too. Chris thinks I am nuts I think. Anyway, I have done giveaways for UPrinting. They are a good company, it is a little hard to get the opportunities sometimes because they do have a lot of sponsors but the products are great and they are really great people to work with. If we lived close Chris would so help with the roof. he knows what it is like to do and help and never have help for himself. I am praying for you guys though!!

  3. I feel so sad for you that you're missing your annual weekend at the RM house. I can only imagine how much that house means to you. I've been feeling a bad about the whole VP thing since the holidays are coming up. I go right back to the first holidays after Maggie was born and how all I could do was thing about NOT having her. I'm amazed at how far I've come since then, but it's still hard.

    Love to Caleb...and all of you!

  4. It has been a great way to make friends, find prayer partners, and meet strangers whom I'd never meet otherwise. And yes, I call them FRIENDS NOW and I mean it with all my heart!

    Thanks for the shout-out, Lisa!!! {{hugs}}

  5. Lisa, I love my blogging friends too! They add as much to my life as my in real life friends, just in a different way!

    I am sorry to hear that your husband is fixing his roof alone. That same things seems to happen to my husband too. But God is good and stuff always gets done. It is in these times that we have to keep our eyes on God and not on man. I am sure that your storm is over by now, I pray that you stayed dry. :)

    So sorry to hear that your husband had to work on the roof alone...I hope that the storm came and went and you were left warm and dry.
