Number 100!

Wow!! 100 posts! This is what this is by the way. :) I have to admit, I have stayed away for five days, trying to think of the perfect 100th post topic. This has been killing me! I am a little neurotic when it comes to starting/ending something, because if for some reason I cannot finish, I have failed. But that's another post for another day, right?! Phew!

First, I want to thank each and every one of you for reading!! If it wasn't for you, I would have stopped blogging a long time ago, because lets face it, we blog to be heard! Well, at least I do. :) I like sharing. You are all great friends, and I love all 15 of you! (15 last I checked!)

Before I go on with what I am going to do for the next 100 days in honor of my 100th post, I'll just fill you in a little on what the happenings have been while I am Here at Home...
It has been a good week. Since this post, I have felt so uplifted in my Heavenly Father's arms. The DiSH has had a few more job leads, which may not be the actual job, but it's a step in the right direction! We were able to look at our budget TOGETHER, which hasn't always been easy. Finances are just no fun to talk about, especially the lack of, and a bit of finger-pointing sometimes happens before we realize it. It feels good to be open with each other, and on the same side, supporting and encouraging one another. I secured a baby-sitting job which begins in 1 1/2 more weeks. I am excited. I will be babysitting children that are part of very close friends. It will not seem like a job! Things are in the waiting period right now, concerning how we will come up with $3000 for Mr. Smarty Pant's tuition at the school he has been attending since kindergarten. This school goes up to 10th grade, and this is his 10th year. I just know God wants him here. He has made it possible all these years, each year, for Mr. SP to be there, so I am patiently waiting to see how it unfolds this time. Please pray for Mr. SP's tuition. I am thankful for all of these things, I truly am. But it really isn't the material things that have me feeling so at peace. I have ONLY thanked God since last Sunday evening, almost one week. I have NOT asked Him for one thing. It has been tricky at times! But I have enjoyed talking to my God so much this week, taking away that "nagging Him yet again" feeling I had been having. I had begun, without really realizing it, to stay away from prayer because I had that unfinished feeling each time....I ask, then what? Where's the answer? Felt unfinished! That's no way to pray, and so taking the advice from a great woman that has lived life to the fullest with her God by her side, I only praised Him, thanked Him, laughed with Him, smiled and sighed big sighs of happy relief each day. That's what it's really all about, right? What we have or don't have on this earth, we cannot take with us when He returns to take us home, so why fret over it all the time? I don't NEED it all! I just need my Father. And I have Him.
Girly Girl has been camping since Friday with my parents. I miss her! I cannot wait to see her later, and hear all about her last couple of days. Little Man is right now, sitting next to me, watching The Fox and The Hound. Let's see how long he lasts! Talking about him brings me to what I am going to do for the next 100 days: I am going to take a picture of him sitting in a livingroom chair, same place, everyday for 100 days. He is holding his dearest friend, Bear. I will post that picture, yes, everyday. But I promise not to write and write all about Little Man all the time, that could get too repetitive! The neatest thing will be when after the 100 days, sometime in October I believe, I am going to put all 100 pictures together in a fast little slide show, so we can see how a 19 month old looks as he becomes 20 months, then 21 months, and then finally 22 months! It sounds so neat, that I may do it for the next two months as well, reaching his 2nd birthday. Kids grow so fast, and with this one, I have the privilege to catch it all on digital camera! Speaking of which, mine is breaking, but I can use Mr. Smarty Pant's camera, while putting a new camera on my Christmas list! ha! Wasn't I just talking about material things?! Oh well, I never said I was perfect!
So here is picture Number 1 of Little Man, 19 months old tomorrow, July 20.

Cute, or what?!
Now to go take a few pics of the DiSH, working hard on our new shed. Ahhh!!! 100th post done! Now I can blog away each day, and the pressure is gone!! haha!! Have a great day in Bloggy Land!!
