Getting ready for my nephew's and sister to come to lunch...She's bringing me some frenchfries from Burger King! Yummm.. She has two adorable little boys, Eli and Colby. Eli is 5 1/2, and his latest thing is calling me. I told him a bit ago that he could call me whenever he wanted, as long as mom and/or dad said he could. So, he calls up, and just says Hello. I then lead the conversation, but I absolutely love it! Having conversations with a 5 1/2 year old is so good for my soul. :) He says things that I wouldn't think of, has such great ideas, and really is a great conversationalist! He said that he lost my phone number, but when he found it (the piece of paper he wrote it on) he would stick it to his wall with his silly puddy. I laughed, but he didn't...really now Auntie, what IS so funny about that?! I love that kid. And then Colby, he is 13 days younger than Little Man, and they are so adorable together. They play with each other, and this morning when I told LM that Colby was coming, he looked at me as if to say, Who? Colby? Yay!! So anyway, I must get ready now...haven't showered yet!
I'm starting to think that my Aunt Lisa is just a show off!!! She does good work, though.
ReplyDeleteI could not believe the email about the VP twins that I read this morning...isn't it amazing what being diagnosed can do?!? I'm off to a midwife appointment today and I'm having all of those crazy VP feelings today. Please pray for me!!
AND FYI...we're naming the baby Eli if it's a boy.
Love the page changes! Aren't conversations with little kids just adorable. My son is three and he loves calling his Auntie Lala, it's really cute!
